Exploring Tucson

Tucson is a vibrant hub of culture, incredible food, and natural wonders. If you have time while you're here, we encourage you to explore the wide range of unique experiences offered by the Old Pueblo!

If you're looking for something close to the hotel, the Main Gate Square district offers a variety of restaurants, bars, coffee and tea shops, and shopping.

To venture a bit further west of the campus, just hop on the free Tucson Sun Link Streetcar or grab a bike from a Tugo Bike Share station and you'll be in easy reach of many of the city's most popular destinations, including the fun and funky Fourth Avenue District, the hip and historic Congress Street District, and the scenic and stylish Mercado District.

Don't miss the unrivaled local flavors that led Tucson to be designated as the first UNESCO City of Gastronomy. We're famous for our Mexican food and Sonoran hotdogs and boast a wide variety of breweries.
